About Zaire

Zaire has always had a great love of art from a very young age and has absorbed herself in drawing and painting, 'creating her own world'.

As time went on her skills developed and she soon realised that her love of art was rapidly becoming a profession. Focusing her academic path onto the fine arts and design.  Zaire was accepted to Central St. Martins, but declined for personal reasons and began creating a strong body of work, covering various styles and mediums.

"I find myself being constantly inspired by the imaginary world around me."  Being influenced heavily by nature, culture and people. Zaire tends to orientate her work around tribal themes, with an underlying ethereal or Gothic tone to them. "Growing up I found religion, spiritualism and nature very fascinating, I believe this comes through in much of my illustrations."

Currently Zaire's primary medium is black indian Ink's, complemented with vibrant watercolours, she prefers to keep her work 'strictly organic'.

"I use imagery as metaphors. I love the fact that people connect with what i do and find their own meaning in my work."

Zaire has also worked in print design on occasion, companies and magazines. Working for clients such as Google and Le cool London. If you would like to commission a piece of work, or purchase an original contact Zaire's agent for details and prices.
